Do the "perfect black" exist?
0

    Do the "perfect black" exist?

I majored in textile design in college.
I had to dye many times till I got the color I want."To dye jet black" is difficult.I found it was not perfect when it dried. So I dyed a lot of times.

I use computer to paint now.I love the technique to color pictures over and over like textile ones. But it is easy to get "Perfect black".All I need do is choose "Black 100%"

    But ...is it really black?
Black in computer means just the monitor outputs nothing.

It gives off a negative vibe, comparing to feeling what I have been absorbed in black when I am in darkness.
Black absorbs all of the visible spectrum.

By the way,if you think of something black, you may remember "the black hole".

According to the calculations by Dr.Hawking, even the black holl don't have 100% black.

    Inside of Ouroboros
    0

Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle.
This symbol is also very fascinating to me.
I imagined inside of that, and depicted.

Find out the law of perception from the vision on the reverse of the eyelids
      0
Have you enjoyed the images reflected in the back of your eyelids?
The complicated geometry images might make you feel euphoria.

        From where such images come?

Roger N. Shepard, Professor of Psychology at Stanford University, states a hypothesis that such images come from the law of perception.
He supposes they are images from the construction of sensorium.

I made this cartoon by software "A New Kind of Science Explorer".
It is an application that can visualize the calculation result.

Do you think this is similer to the image what you can see when you close your eyes?
The images might have a key solve the secret of the law of perception.

        Six Degrees of Separations
        0

This is a book "What is a complex network? " published by Naoki Masuda.

I was in charge of illustrations.

Mr.O,the science editor liked my drawing of uroboros. He associated it with network.

A complex network is learning of conection for human relationships, infection, neurons, etc.

One of the topic in network science is "Six degrees of separation".This refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person they know and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people they know, then everyone is an average of six "steps" away from each person on Earth.
This book is written about "measuring human relationship networks".For example, the degree of distance between you and this book author,Mr.Matuda is...only degree 3! Because you know me(this website'author),I know science editor,Mr.O, and Mr.O knows Mr.Matuda. You are 3 steps away from Mr.Matuda.
          This is exactly "smallworld".
